Witness the Power of Compounding

Dear Fellow Nerds,

Today (07/25/2024), we kicked off the preorder of our new product: the Exponential Growth and Compound Effect T-Shirt. This unique piece is a collaboration with YouTuber YZ (@kedaibiao) and his Superlinear Academy.

The Product

The theme of this t-shirt centers around the profound concepts of compounding and exponential growth. Named accordingly, this product aims to highlight the beauty and philosophy of the compound effect—a reminder that minor, consistent improvements day by day can accumulate into significant outcomes. It's a call to focus on everyday progress, rather than being overwhelmed by big dreams and goals without taking action.

Some Thoughts

Creating this product has been an inspiring journey, which mirrors the compounding process itself.

This collaboration, our first ever, began with a simple cold email I sent to YZ after launching our initial product, the Normal Distribution and Galton Board Sweatshirt.

Had I not sent that email, this collaboration wouldn't exist. Had YZ not responded, it wouldn't exist. If our first product hadn't been designed and manufactured well, this collaboration wouldn't exist. Had we not found a great designer, Star, who was introduced by our previous designer Aiqi, this collaboration wouldn't exist. Had YZ not been able to connect us with more logistics and manufacturing resources overseas, this collaboration wouldn't exist. You can extend this list infinitely... Every small step, from reaching out to YZ on social media to figuring out design, manufacturing, samples, and logistics, has compounded to make this product a reality.

All I want to say is, although we don’t yet know how successful this product will be, its existence alone is a testament to the power of compounding. It's here because of the small, consistent efforts we’ve made each day. We hope this t-shirt serves as a reminder for all of us to keep pushing forward with those small steps, knowing they lead to great achievements.
